The delivery of service hours and the number of staff are dependent on the requirements of the funder and the needs of the individual. These offer an option for individuals who do not want to live in residential care but find it difficult to cope at home. It provides suitable accommodation, which can be an individual's own home, with some forms of support, such as help with activities that enable an individual to live an independent and fulfilling life. Supported living can also be shared by two or three people with similar health problems. Staff visit the service to assist with tasks such as activities of daily living, finding a job, going out to college or work, shopping, housework, and repairs.
We recognise that from time to time, individuals may not have sole access to their accommodation and may live with other tenants, however, still require a support package.
